The story
First nightout.
This was the first-ever event for Toby's Milkbar with our new trailer (we like to call it Toby's 2.0) and our first time bringing it out to serve sliders at the Mayor's Commendation Awards 2025 with Burwood Council.
Loranz from Sydney Food Brothers had the honour of jumping up and sharing our journey, how this all started, why we do what we do, and the purpose behind building something that brings people together through food.
And yep, the moment of truth: Mayor of Burwood, John Faker, tried our sliders and his favourite was the Kafta. We'll take that win.
This was our first time running Toby's 2.0 at an event, and honestly, it confirmed everything we believed this trailer was built for: community events, private functions, councils, festivals, and celebrations where good food brings everyone together.
